IN-SERVICE TEACHERS’ TRAINING AT A GLANCE.

Federal College of Education (FCE) has a mandate to cater the needs of qualified trained teachers of Islamabad Capital Territory, NMTD, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK. The mandate is in line with the education policy of the Government of Pakistan. The Primary and fundamental objectives of the Government’s education politics, from time to time, were/are to train and groom professional teachers and develop a trained qualified force of teachers to build prosperous Pakistan. FCE has been producing professionals by imparting Pre-Service and In-Service training since its inception with new and improved methodology / techniques and practicum to meet the challenges in education. FCE has been conducting teachers training in collaboration with CIDA for last ten years.

PROMOTION LINKED TRAINING

Promotion Linked Training for Vice Principals / Head Mistress/ Assistant Professors/ Officers working in BPS-18 (Civil Service Ex-Cadre) Under FDE. (March 28th – April 08) 10 days Promotion Linked Training for Vice Principals / Head Mistress/ Assistant Professors/ Officers working in BPS-18 (Civil Service Ex-Cadre) Under FDE was held at Federal College of Education H-9 Islamabad on March 28th to April 08 2022.

This training program was held on campus with the blend of latest technology, in which all instructors and learners played a vital role. This training offered a variety of topics for lectures, discussions, projects, and hand in practice activities. During the program, trainees were engaged as a community of learners for accountable talk, dialogue and debate. The main areas of training were:

  1. Leadership and Management
  2. Academic Management
  3. Financial Management

During the program FCE’s computer lab was also available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for assignment submission and other computer related learning activities
